I was waiting to do this post because I don't have any of the pictures from the hospital.. Me being so smart forgot to charge my camera so my mom has all of them.
When we found out we were expecting; we were very nervous. We didn't plan on having kids tell
for a few years,but apparently some though he needed to come now. We couldn't be happier. We had
a little scare after we found out. I started bleeding and we spent a good four hours in the ER. I had blood
sitting under the baby wasn't hurting him just had it there and they weren't sure why. So I was put on bed
rest for about three months. Which was really hard for me; I hate not being able to do stuff. I was able to go
to work which helped out a lot except that I was throwing up all day long. My co-workers were amazing
and helped me with whatever I needed. We felt like the due date was never going to come; with two weeks left
they told me my due date was switched from the Sept 26 to Sept 20. I was so excited and ready to be done.
So the 20th came and went and the Sept 26th came and went. Besides my date being changed I wasn't even
dilated or aphazied at all. Can we say STRESSFUL?? Finally they decided to start me.EXCITED!!!
I went in on the Sept 27th; Cory's mom took me since Cory was working cause they weren't starting me tell
after 5. She was so awesome to come and sit with me for 4 hours. We just sat and talked the whole time. My mom
was on her way with Karrie and my dad. Finally they but the cervidal in and I had to have that in for 12 hours before
they could start the potasin. Tell you what 6:30 couldn't come fast enough. I was only at a 2 1/2. I thought I
had felt pain NOT EVEN CLOSE! I wanted to be a four so I could have that dang epidural. After that it only took about
a hour tell and I was at a 6 and they broke my water. Then half and hour later I was at a eight; that was at 12:30.
They had me start pushing at 1 and he was born at 1:17.
Devyn Duane was born on Sept. 28 2010 7.5lbs 19 1/2' long. We couldn't be more excited to have this little addition to our family. He is such a joy.
THINGS ABOUT DEVYN!
- Devyn loves his dad. He gets so excited to see him when he gets home from work.
- He loves his binky.
- He loves being in his swing.
- He is such a jibber jabber all the time.
- He sleeps through the night.
- He always wants to see whats going on.
- He either wants to be sitting up or standing.
- He weighed 10lbs at his 2 month check-up
- He loves talking to his stuff cow that his Aunt Tash got him.
- He LOVES LOVES his soft blankly that my Aunt Paulett got him.
